What was your motivation? What inspired you to start your weight loss journey? 
My motivation was working out in the gym for years, and never seeing any results. I was also motivated by not being able to fit any clothes that I desired. I was overindulging in junk foods, feeling depressed, and feeling sorry for myself. One day I was on youtube came across the Fitness On Fire Online Training Program. When I saw all the beautiful women’s transformations and how happy they looked, I wanted to be a part of that family

What inspired me to start my weight loss journey was me not wanting to go out and enjoy life due to menopause. I had weight gain from menopause, and I was turning 53. I didn’t feel attractive in any of my clothes, and I didn’t feel healthy or alive. I wanted to feel good regardless of my age.

How did you change your eating habits?
No fried foods, no soda, and no eating past 8 pm. I stopped eating was ice-cream, candy, and chips. To replace the junk food, I ate yogurt ice-cream, low-fat fruit snacks for candy, and baked chips.

I changed my eating habits by eating three healthy meals and three healthy snacks each day. I had fiber, protein, vegetables and fruits. I basically follow the regimen provided by my online nutritionist, NutritionistGuru, from the Fitness on Fire Online Training Program

What did your workout routine consist of?
My workout consists of resistance training, which is the regimen given to me by my online trainer, “King or the Fire” from the FOF program. I worked out five days a week for 75-90 mins.

How long did your transformation take?
My transformation took six months. I started to see results about a month and a half into my journey when I tried on a pair of jeans that I was unable to get past my thighs. Being able to fit those jeans lit a fire within.

The Fitness on Fire program worked for me because Fire showed me the proper machines to work out on in the gym. This made a big difference because you feel so good knowing that you are working out, and it is working. NutritionistsGuru educated me on proper meals. Both my trainer and my nutritionist made sure I stayed on track. The program is all about being healthy and building a better you. This program is a life-changing program. You never go hungry, and you are not on a diet. It’s about replacing unhealthy foods with healthy foods. Other programs I tried in the past didn’t work because it was for a quick fix, not a lifestyle change.

What advice do you gave for others who want to lose weight? 
Look in the mirror and tell yourself, “You got this.” Go out and buy that one outfit you so want to wear (something to give you that extra push). Prove yourself to yourself and not anyone else. ALWAYS look forward, never back. Little steps turn into big steps.
