I have been following a low carb diet and working out for six months now. This journey has changed my life for the better!
What is your motivation?
What motivates me the most to keep going is the way I feel now. I never
thought I could have so much energy. I used to be so sluggish and tired all the time, but now it’s a different story.
When did you start your journey?
I started my weight loss journey on January 1, 2019. I wore a size 18 in
pants when I started and I currently wear a size 8.
How did you change your eating habits?
I changed my eating habits by first cutting out fast foods. Then, I stopped eating bread, pasta, rice, and starchy foods. Now, I eat more meat and green vegetables.
What does your workout routine consist of?
I work out 3-4 times a week. I’ve done mostly cardio to get the weight off of me. I also do total-body workouts.
What is your height?
My height is 5’7″.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
The biggest lesson I learned so far is that change will not happen overnight. You have to be willing to put in some type of work every day to get the changes you want.
What advice would you give to women who want to get started?
The advice I have for women who want to lose weight is to do it for you. Do it to improve your health. Don’t do it for anyone else.
