Transformation of the Day: Ronda lost 85 pounds. She was tired of having low energy and carrying around extra weight, so she changed her mindset and took action. Now, she’s in love with fitness and exercise is part of her daily routine. Check out her story.
I started my journey in 2015. I weighed 255 pounds, and I was trying to win my life back with one goal in mind: lose this fat! I was always tired, had no energy, and I was just tired of carrying the extra weight.
During this process, I screwed up plenty! I always gave up in the past but this time was different! I wanted to see what would happen if I just hung in there and gave it my all. I learned that you have to change your mindset! Once I changed that piece of the puzzle, I won half the battle!
I stopped eating fast food, red meat and ate very few sweets. I only drink water (tons of it) and unsweetened teas! I work out every day in some capacity! If I am not in the gym, I walk or ride my bike, but I am always moving!
My current weight is 170 pounds and my height is 5’5″. My weight loss is all natural. No pills or surgery. Just blood, a lot of sweat and some tears!
My inspiration to keep going is seeing how I’ve changed over time and wanting to be better than I was the day before! I love working out! It is hard work, but I know that I’m so worth it.
Advice: If you think about it for a second and if what you are planning to do is a quick fix, you better wake up and think again! You have to fight and even if you mess up, don’t GIVE UP!
