What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going when you wanted to give up?
I was overweight and unhealthy my entire life. I am 25 years old, and I knew that I didn’t want to go through life not being the best version of myself. I wanted to be a healthier Me! I knew that I had to take action if I wanted to change my quality of life and have more confidence in myself.
How did you change your eating habits?
I started by cutting down on my carbs. I tracked my calorie intake and protein intake. I also meal prep every week.
What did your workout routine consist of?
I work out five days a week. I usually do 20 minutes of cardio and an hour of strength training.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 220 pounds, and my current weight is 162 pounds.

I began this new journey in January 2018.

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
The biggest lesson I learned is to love myself during every stage of this journey. I may have setbacks, but it’s okay as long as I know how to get back on track.
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
Do not make any more excuses for yourself! Decide today that you are going to choose YOU and then follow through with it!
