Transformation of the Day: Veronica lost 50 pounds. At the beginning of the year, she decided to start her weight loss journey. In March, she found a coach who helped her take her efforts to the next level. Check out her story.
My name is Veronica, and I am 27 years old. I started my weight loss journey in January 2019. I bought a calendar and tracked every day that I worked out to keep myself on track and motivated.
By March, I was really overwhelmed, so I connected with a guy I saw on Facebook named Terry Starks. I decided to join his program. Terry gave me the motivation that I was missing. Without him, I probably should have given up. Today I am in total shock about the results I’ve achieved, and I am still working hard.
What is your motivation?
My children inspired me when I wanted to give up. I also watched videos about weight loss journeys on YouTube to help me stay motivated.
How did you change your eating habits?
I am on a low-calorie diet, and I also meal prep. My daily calorie goal ranges from 1200 to 1500 calories a day. During my weight loss journey, I cut out alcohol, fast food, fried food, red, meat, starch, bread, sweets, and salty foods. I eat lots of fruit and vegetables, always fresh and never frozen. Drink plenty of water as well.
What does your exercise routine consist of?
I exercise every day. I do 45 minutes of cardio and a 30 min total body routine.

My starting weight was 277 pounds. I currently weigh 227 pounds. I’m 50 pounds down since I began Terry Starks’s program.

I am 5’9″.
